I suggest you forget about having a new affair. No. 1, if you are a real Buddhist, you must observe Precept no.3 ie Kamesu Miccha-cara veramani sikkha padam samadiyami. (Meaning : Do not indulge in illegal sex or adultery. You must also observe the Buddha's teachings of the 8 Noble Paths. Be mindful that Cravings and Attachments are the Causes of Suffering. As such, I advise that if you have the Wisdom, you must forego whatever temptations that you are facing. Metta to you.
