thank you for your suggestions, i will take them to heart as best i can. i would like to do something like become a paramedic, but i am still in high school (senior year) and i have little to no time for a job as demanding as being a paramedic. if i were to become a paramedic, i would want to give myself completely to what i was doing, and i don't feel i could with the time and resources i would have left. question: should i make more time for things like this? what really needs to be done, what is important in life?

i am fairly new to buddhism, so there are a few questions i have...

i am a bit of a hermetic person, i don't really like to be around a lot of people, and on some days i don't even like to be around people at all. is this a bad thing, as far as buddhism is concerned?

brian
