Whoever you follow. No matter how good your teacher is. Sooner or later, he'll leave you. Or you'll need you.

A teacher points out the ways for students, follow or succeed in accomplishing the practices or not is still up to each individual.

A reliable teacher is important, but one shouldn't rely him like a all-knowing or all-powerful God or anything similar to that.

That's my view.
